I’ve decided on the new project, Gentle Reader, and it is the apocalyptic novel of manners one. I am easing slowly but surely back into writing (as opposed to editing and revising), trying to complete at least one page a day for now. Once finals are done and graded–O, Happy Day That Will Be!–I will aim for two pages. Slow and steady, certainly, but a good strategy for me nonetheless.
Do you have any strategies you employ to help get you back into writing after a long hiatus? What do you do to help?
