Postscripts: New Year Writing

Day 1: 767 words written.

I’ve found what I want to be writing about, Gentle Reader, and spent the winter break thinking of this novel.  It’s one that has been bouncing around in my head for quite some time, but I wasn’t sure what avenue I wanted to take with it.  I think I now know, and I’ve begun with three full pages.  Slow going, yes, but I’m aiming for 2-3 pages a day, now that I’ve returned home.

What are you working on, Friends?

  1. Well done to you! It’s good that you’re able to do that much writing. Best of luck with it!

I’m working on draft 6 of my novel and am summoning up the courage to invite beta readers to my Google docs. *deep cleansing breath* I’ve worked on this project for 2 years and put it away for a year. Now I’ve gotten it back out for a re-edit and have decided that it’s time to get some feedback on it.
