I’m in a sticky situation, writing-wise.

I’m at a scene that must happen, but I don’t like how it’s happening.  And I can’t decide whether to barrel through and force it into shape, or give it a rest for today and see if I can’t make it work.

I think it was Dorothy Parker who said, “I can’t write five words but that I change seven.”

Indeed.
