My dear friend Sunny taught me this word: BICHOK. Or anagram, in that it stands for “BUTT IN CHAIR, HANDS ON KEYBOARD.” It is one of the smartest sayings I’ve ever encountered, especially as it is the key to writing. You need to write to be a writer.
It’s been a while for me, Gentle Reader. I’ve allowed life and other sundries to get in the way of my passion, my work, but no more. I am BICHOK currently, and I will be on a schedule from now on.
Part of the problem was that I didn’t know what to work on. I am speaking with my agent tomorrow to consider possibilities, but I think now, I am going to work on MARVEL AMONG THE DEMONS, my New Adult urban fantasy. You can read the original first three chapters here. I am in the process of rewriting, and will post the new chapters soon.
