It’s a snowy day here in the Midwest, Gentle Reader, and while we were promised <1 inch of snow, we received 3-4 inches. DH is sick, and I had to go to the store to get some medicine for him. It required digging out the car, driving 20mph on the road to Target, and then, driving 20mph back from Target with medicine and other assorted nonsense (milk and bread! I had to get the milk and bread! It snowed!!!).
But now that I’m home, and it’s 2:00 p.m., I’m at an impasse as to what to do next. I’ve worked all morning since 8:00 a.m. on my grad class, on cleaning, on chatting with a dear friend about MARVEL and Thing Theory (unrelated conversations), but now, I find myself with spare time and no idea of what to do.
So, I blog.
Writing is at an impasse for me, as well. Dear Friend I mentioned above read MARVEL for me, and I’ve also sent it to my brilliant agent to see if he has time to read the first half. I don’t know where to go next, and that’s a problem. There’s too much on screen and not enough depth, and I know that, but still, I’m at a loss.
So what should I do?
Keep writing, but just move away from MARVEL for a bit. Thus, I write on this blog. Perhaps read some more for fun–I’m in the middle of two fiction books and two non-fiction books–and lie down in my warm, comfy bed. Unfortunately, that will probably lead to a nap, and I don’t want to sleep away what is my last Sunday before the semester starts. I’m afraid it might be FACEBOOK FOREVER in my efforts to do something.
What’s your Sunday look like, Friends?
