It’s been a week since I’ve gotten home from England, Gentle Reader, and I haven’t left the house since last Sunday morning (early social-distancing trip to Target). We’ve ordered groceries and supported local economy by ordering delivery from some of our favorite restaurants. I expected us to clean more but then, we are who we are. *shrug*
So to get back into it, I’m starting this week working and gloriously, co-watching Emma remotely with some friends! We will message each other as we watch in our separate homes, so I’m super excited by this!
CREATIVE WRITING: I’m really happy with the fleshing out I’m doing on the first seven or so chapters of FESTIVAL and I think it’s coming along nicely. I’m getting to know my characters better, and understand them a bit more.
WORK READING: Getting back to it today: 5 articles and 3 books in rotation. Waiting for anything more on our ADAPTATION collection.
TEACHING: Some odds and ends, but not really thinking about it much for a few more weeks. Sabbatical ftw.
Cleaning: seriously, can’t the dogs do ANYTHING to help around the house??
FUN READING: So today I finish CHILDREN OF VIRTUE AND VENGEANCE before it’s due back to the ebrary. I have 19% left! It’s so good!
MENTAL/PHYSICAL HEALTH: No fever today, no cough, so I’m 8 days into a 14-day quarantine. So far so good. I have an appointment with my therapist on Thursday (teleconference) so that helps, too.
