I promised a friend who is woefully without fresh baked cookies that I would bake cookies for her and, Gentle Reader, I am planning oatmeal scotchies and chocolate chip of some kind (maybe the Doubletree recipe??). But first, I need to do some cleaning around the house and putter with my work.
I am taking two FutureLearn courses, one on Royal Fashion and one on Textiles and Mills. I just finished Week One of the Royal Fashion, which was on the Tudors, an aspect of fashion I know little about. Partly because I’m a nineteenth-century scholar, and my knowledge is there, and partly because there isn’t much left of the Tudor wardrobe, for a variety of reasons.
