We have a Zoom Department meeting today, Gentle Reader, and I’m excited about seeing my colleagues! It was nice to pop in earlier this semester–and get chastised because “you’re on sabbatical! Go home!”–but now I’m particularly feeling separated and lost from them with this whole global crisis.
Also, I have to run back to Target because something we ordered wasn’t ready for pickup when I went yesterday for Rx. I’m careful: lots of hand sanitizer, mask, 6 feet separation. So far, our county has few cases and most people have been handling this well, wearing masks, not going out. I’m pretty proud of our Midwest community!
