It’s weaker than I usually make coffee, but O, Gentle Reader, I bought a pour over and some good coffee and it’s amazing! I need to tweak it of course, to figure out how to make it stronger, but for now, it works!
Today is the last day of the first week of classes, so thus ends Week One. There’s the weekend of course, but that’s fun things and not classes. Three hours classes are not always easy, and I’ve been bringing in extra materials to bulk up the syllabus without overwhelming them with outside reading. It seems to be working!
Still in quarantine. Haven’t gotten my Day 2 test back. Did get called from the Covid Task Force (I forget their actual name) and they will call every day. It feels nice to be checked in with, and a phone call to boot!
Today is Chaucer, and I thought I’d bring in some Gawain and Morte d’Arthur, as extra readings to look at together in class.
For now, I’m going to enjoy my view.
