The Manor, July 5, 2021 (Week Two)

I may never tire of this view, Gentle Reader. It makes mornings so very special. I slept in a little bit this morning, until 6:30, because my sugar crashed in the middle of the night and woke me up. I ate five jelly babies but that wasn’t enough so I ate a banana. My blood sugar has been a mess since I got here, and I’m trying so hard to even it out!

Yesterday, I prepped class for six hours so today I need to do work on my chapter and get started on class for tomorrow. Tomorrow is Restoration and early eighteenth century, and I only have them reading so much the night before because I don’t want to overwhelm them with reading, and some are taking two classes, all morning and all afternoon with me! So I bring in work we can read in class, either in pieces and parts or whole, like poetry.

Tomorrow is the Day 8 test and Thursday we finish quarantine! Friday we are off to London for the weekend.

Here is a sleepy me this morning. Again, my hair is just making fun of me at this point.
