A New Hobby?

Gentle Reader, I’ve tried it all:

Arts and Crafts
Coloring
Knitting
Sketching

Writing doesn’t count as it is vital to live, and part of my work.  Neither does reading, for the same reasons.

But, I have purchased a new camera in anticipation of my trip to Alaska next year, and I’ve also purchased a digital photography book to learn to be a better photographer.  My best friend, Margot, who took the photos on my Website, The Postmodern Bluestocking, is the photographer I long to be.  I’m pretty wretched at photography.  But perhaps Alaska is enough of an inspiration that I will learn to use my camera more fully so my pictures move beyond just “pictures” to “photographs.”
